The role

As Transactions Manager, you will play a key role in supporting CityLink’s transaction and financing activities across Europe. You will lead the execution of acquisition and (re)financing transactions, coordinating all stages from due diligence through closing in close collaboration with internal teams, external advisors, lenders, and investment partners.This is a highly visible position offering significant exposure to cross-border transactions, complex deal structures, and strategic growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Acquisitions

  • Review underwriting assumptions prepared by the local acquisitions managers.
  • Lead acquisition due diligence processes across multiple European jurisdictions.
  • Assess due diligence findings and evaluate impacts on investment underwriting and transaction structure.
  • Coordinate transaction execution with Acquisitions, Technical, Finance, and Asset Management teams.
  • Manage the smooth handover of assets following transaction completion.
  • Coordinate/support SPA negotiations alongside external legal advisors.
  • Review financial due diligence findings and assess associated transaction risks.
  • Oversee credit and counterparty risk analysis as part of the due diligence process.
  • Coordinate and execute acquisition financing in collaboration with HighBrook and financing partners.

(Re)Financing

  • Drive lender due diligence and financing workstreams across the portfolio.
  • Review financing structures, covenant packages and transaction documentation.
  • Coordinate negotiations with lenders and financing counterparties.
  • Execute financing and refinancing transactions in close collaboration with HighBrook.
  • Work closely with Technical, Finance, and Asset Management teams during financing discussions and post-closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with lender reporting requirements and conditions subsequent.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in real estate transactions, investment management, real estate finance, corporate finance, banking, or private equity.
  • Proven experience in managing acquisitions and/or financing transactions.
  • Strong understanding of due diligence processes, transaction structuring, and legal documentation.
  • International experience and the ability to operate effectively across multiple markets and cultures.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in German and English; Dutch is considered an advantage.
  • Based in the Netherlands or Germany, and willing to travel regularly within Europe.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a commercial mindset.
