Established in 2020, CityLink is a joint venture between HighBrook Investors, an international private equity real estate firm, and Proptimize, a Dutch real estate developer and asset manager.

The company is looking to hire a “Senior Financial Accountant” for its Düsseldorf office, who is exclusively focused on the German market but is part of the European team.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the finance function, for a number of property-owning SPVs;
• Mentor and train other team members;
• Prepare lender reporting on a periodic basis;
• Work with asset managers and other internal teams on the provision of reports and information, as required;
• Monitor debts, be involved in liquidity planning, and communicate on a regular basis;
• Review and assist in the quarterly management reporting process;
• Oversee and assist with the weekly payment process;
• Liaise with third parties, such as tax advisors, banks, auditors as required.

Qualifications

• Possess a relevant degree, and demonstrate a higher professional education level in both work and thinking skills;
• Preferably to have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar position;
• Independent yet strong team player;
• Results-oriented with the ability to respond effectively to unexpected situations;
• Experience with Yardi is a plus, but not required;
• Familiarity with Luxembourg structures is a plus, but not required;
• Eager to learn, motivated, and ambitious;
• Excellent communication skills in German and English;
• Strong analytical skills with a hands-on approach;
